Short Animated Fight Scene Overview

This is just a quick animation fight scene. Seeing an animation in Maker Space might be unusual since the general theme here is more physical stuff. Still, if you are crazy enough like me to start drawing in Maker Space instead of joining art class, then I'll tell you a little about my project. I am doing this project in the first place because I was interested in animation, and my only experience in this field is purely self-taught and passion. Previous mandatory art lessons limited the type of art I would do, and I thought joining Maker Space would allow me to go at my own pace as a beginner and slowly learn more about this. I chose to work on an action animation because I always got inspiration from other people's animation but was never able to start my own, but joining Maker Space I was finally able to "finish" an animation that I am decently happy with. You 100 percent do not need a team for this project. Honestly, I don't know how you would work on one animation together unless you both know what you are doing. The difficulty of this project could differ depending on what you want to do and what you are aiming for. In my case, the difficulty is decently low. The main challenges are boredom (working on the same project for so long) and lack of skill. It all depends on what you want to make.
Project Progress
While writing this, I am still working on the animation, there is not much else to work on other than a little bit of planning and making a storyboard. If I were to be a little more specific, I am currently sketching the keyframes of a part of the animation. The animation below is what I have for now (there is nothing after 35 seconds)
For this animation, I am planning to either loop the fight or end it with one of the characters losing (this choice only appeared because of bad planning don't be like me), and then later on hopefully I can find some fitting music and sound effects for the attacks.
Skills required for the project and skills acquired
Since I was already somewhat familiar with animation, there was not much that I learned from working on the project. It is not much else besides better time, more animation techniques management, and patience. If you were expecting to get better at animating, that's not possible. It only is with much practice every day and youtube videos online.
Like before, the skills you learn with this project depend on what you are working on. I'll use my project as an example again. Since I like dramatic fighting animations, I learned some new techniques for making my animation look better from observing other people's animations.
Suppose you have good planning and practice with animation and human anatomy. In that case, I don't think you will have many problems at all. Still, suppose you are like me and have neither of those things. In that case, I recommend just looking at other people's animation on google or youtube to see how they do it or for inspiration and search for references online. I will not provide links for you because it is literally the first search on google, but if you are doing an action animation. If you are looking for inspiration, search "fighting sakuga animation" on youtube. Usually, other people's animation shows up, and you could browse through them to look for inspiration.
